IELCA assesses the academic English you actually use at university: understanding lectures, reading academic texts, writing structured essays and speaking about complex topics. It reports across CEFR levels B1 to C2, so one sitting places you precisely on the international scale.
IELCA or IELTS?
Both are academic English exams; the right choice depends on where you are applying. Many universities and institutions accept IELCA directly, and its format — four papers, clear band descriptors, straightforward registration through our centre — makes it a practical, learner-friendly route.
